Brandy’s purpose

Those whom I love and care for give me my purpose. Caring for others using the skills that I have gives me my purpose.

My father passed away unexpectedly in 2006 and I saw the pain that my mother endured, the fear, and the insecurity for my father had handled all of the families finances. I don't want anyone to have to experience debilitating fear and I can take care of that for families by planning and building relationships with all family members so they know that when tragedy does happen someone is there every step of the way.

I have also experienced divorce personally and from that experience I know the value of financial planning preparation before mediation or trial. I don't want anyone to have to go through that alone, but instead with thoughtful planning and steady guidance every step of the way.

Julia’s purpose

My purpose is to take the complex web of an individual family’s financial plan and simplify it so that everyone in the family feels comfortable with and knowledgeable about their situation.

I went into my MBA program as a Philosophy Major in Law School. I felt like I needed to know something about business and finance to be an effective attorney and as I was completely ignorant I worried about myself as a single woman. I won’t lie that first year was tough! I knew nothing, so I surrounded myself with smart people and they helped me teach myself the basics. Eventually, I caught up and all of the finance stopped being a mystery. I actually really enjoyed it. It became my passion to help others.

Personal finance can feel foreign and complicated, but I find great satisfaction in educating others, so they feel in control and secure. Everyone deserves to enjoy their lives, and having a complete grasp of your financial situation gives the freedom to do just that.
